Terms & Conditions

General
All our accommodation prices and experiences are priced per room per night, unless otherwise stated, in GBP £. All prices include Value Added Tax (VAT).

The hotel is NOT 24-hour manned

Deposits
A 50% deposit will be taken on the booking of your accommodation with us. The final amount will be taken at check in to the hotel. We can allow for one movement of your booking, as long as you allow us 14 days notice prior to arriving.
This card will then be taken as a guarantee for your booking for any further payments required.

Please note that some bookings may require full prepayment at the time of booking or additional payment prior to your arrival, for example, our Christmas and New Year Eve experiences.

Cancellations
If you are unable to make your booking, we operate a 72-hour cancellation policy. Failure to cancel your booking will result in full payment being charged to the debit/credit card the deposit was taken from.

Refunds
If you cancel your booking 48 hours before your arrival, we will keep your full deposit. If you cancel before 72 hours before your arrival we will hold your deposit for six months, which can then be used for a future booking at the hotel’s discretion excluding all bank holidays including Christmas and New Year.
Should The Penrallt Country House Hotel be unable to fulfil the service booked, a hotel gift voucher to the value of payments made or alternative dates will be offered.

Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out the appropriate travel insurance, should you need to cancel as no refunds are given in any circumstances.

Damage/Misdemeanours
We reserve the right to charge our guests for any damage caused to any parts of our premises; accidental or otherwise. Failure to inform a staff member about any damage caused to our property may result in further charges to be incurred due to delayed intervention.

Smoking
Please note that this is a non-smoking property and smoking is not permitted in any guest bedrooms or indoor public areas, including out of the window. Any guest found to be smoking in their bedroom will incur a fine to the value of the next night’s rate of stay to cover cleaning charges and loss of revenue from smoke damaged rooms.

Final Balances
Full payment for all accommodation charges and any additional items such as food and drinks are payable upon departure. Should you depart without settling your bill, we reserve the right to charge the card we hold on file for you.

Gift Cards
The Penrallt Country House Hotel & Spa gift cards can only be redeemed at the Penrallt Country House Hotel and may only be used towards the purchase of eligible products listed and sold by the Penrallt Country House Hotel

The Penrallt Country House Hotel gift cards cannot be redeemed to pay for other gift cards or exchanged for a cash value.

If the purchase made at the Penrallt Country House Hotel exceeds the amount on the gift card, the balance must be paid in cash or by credit or debit card at the time of the gift card transaction.

One or more gift cards can be redeemed against a purchase in the Penrallt Country House Hotel but can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers at the hotel at the time of visiting.

The Penrallt Country House Hotel is not responsible if a gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission. Defaced, illegible, or photocopied gift cards will not be accepted.

Pet Policy
We love all our guests including our canine ones at the Penrallt Country House Hotel & Spa and we welcome well-behaved dogs into a limited number of our Tŷ Hen Garden Rooms.

This is subject to availability and prior booking at the hotel, as unfortunately, we are unable to provide special consideration for guests who arrive at the hotel with their pet without prior arrangement.

There is also an additional charge for this of £30 per night inclusive of VAT. Please be aware that, although pets are tolerated in our Tŷ Hen Garden Rooms, conservatory area and patio, they are not permitted in any other public areas of the hotel including the restaurant and bar. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are an exception to the above policy and are allowed access to food service areas.

We also ask that all dogs are always kept on a lead within the hotel and its adjacent grounds.

Guests are asked not to leave dogs unattended in rooms at any time and should remain off the furniture and in their own bedding. However please be aware that should you leave your pet unattended in your bedroom, please first inform reception, leaving a contact number where you can be easily reached and a ‘Do Not Disturb’ on the door.

Owners must take full responsibility for their pet’s behaviour throughout the stay and any property damage caused by a pet will be charged accordingly.

While we accept dogs in the hotel, it is also vital that we take steps to protect any allergy sufferers who may also be staying with us. It is therefore important that any guest notifies us at the time of booking if they suffer from a pet allergy so that we can allocate a room away from where a dog will be staying.
